We have one bedroom free from 1st of April in our musicians collective villa in Österskär/Åkersberga. The house is 300m from the ocean and the beach, and only 3 min walking distance to the commuter train that takes 30 min to Stockholm University Campus and 35 min to the city centre (Östra Station). The shared space is 120 sqm and has a brand new kitchen with dishwasher, a bathroom with shower/bathtub, washing machine/dryer and a sauna, a separete toilet and a large music studio that can be used as a living room as well. It is shared with a Hungarian trumpet player and a Swedish yoga and climbing instructor who is also a musician (singer/guitar/piano). A large shopping centre with all stores you can possibly need (grocery, gym, drugstore, barber, electronics, beauty, hardware, etc) is within a 10 minute walk, or just one stop with the train. We are a young Swedish couple with 2 kids (5 and 7). Rent is 4900 kr/month We will prioritize musicians, international students/researchers and other creative and open minded people as residents, there will be a lot of music played in the house since one of the owners is a drummer and a lively community of fellow musicians are visiting regularly! For us the most important thing is the chemistry between the people living in the house so please describe yourself a bit more in detail when contacting us. We host jam sessions and an annual festival in the garden with bands all day! Musicians living in the house are free to practice their instruments in the studio, and also record with their bands/projects by agreement. We will also focus on growing a permaculture garden with lots of fruits, vegetables and such, so if you have an interest in gardening/sustainability it is very much appreciated!
