Pleasant, bright little place. Walls and radiators are being freshly painted. Small renovations on fixtures and details are underway (Jan 2025). Oven bought 2023 Bathroom sink changed summer 2024. No fully renovated in 20 years but it's generally in pretty good condition. The view from both windows (kitchen and main room) is nothing breathtaking but it is very tolerable. No tall ugly buildings, just a few very tall trees about 100 meters away and further out two houses. The kitchen is rather roomy. The previous tenant had a kitchen table with chairs and a regular size piano in. The bathroom is fresh and comfortable with a shower. (It could fit a bathtub or a washing machine in) Clothing storage and closet is minimal. A rather small portable closet and basket drawers for towels and bedwear. But it is scheduled for renovation in the very near future. There is a sofa, a deep chair, a bed, 2 coffee tables. Kitchen table and 3 chairs in the kitchen. A few nessesary Kitchenware are also in place. (Like: cooking pots, pans, dishes, glasses, coffee mugs, cutlery, kitchen knives, baking trays, mixing bowls etc) As well as water boiler, toaster, coffee machine, waffle maker/sandwich grill. Also a small vacuum cleaner. The apartment is on the first floor, no other apartments under. But it's a few steps above ground so one doesn't feel exposed. There is a double door which makes a significant difference with noises that may come from the corridor. It also helps with maintaining heat in the apartment. The common laundry room has many machines so there is almost always avaliable laundry time. I can not provide storage room yet unfortunately. There is very limited space that I could share if it's absolutely necessary. Busstop, supermarket, pizza bar restaurant, pharmacy, dentist and health center are 2 minutes walk from the apartment. Also there is a big supermarket, gym, and systembolaget 4 bus stops away, or 14 minutes walking distance. Furthermore there is a beautiful swimming area and park only 2 busstops, or 11 minutes walking distance. Generally there is a lot of beautiful nature very near the apartment. Why I'm renting it out. I bought this apartment for my mom 13 years ago. But she has gotten way too old to take care of herself, so she has now moved in with my sister. (It may sound strange, but we are originally Greek so this is how family works in our culture) I haven't decided what to do with this apartment yet. The main reason is that I work on the north side and very often in Västerås. The place I live in at the moment is more convenient for me right now. This may change though in a couple of years. So I need a little time to sort things out. Also I don't want to sell right now since the market is terrible for sellers at the moment. When the renovations are done, more pictures will be uploaded. Fast Internet is included in the rent. Animals are NOT allowed. Except for dogs. Dogs are very welcome!
