Hi, we are starting a new three-person flat share in August and are looking for a third person to join us. We will all rent from our landlords directly, and you will also make a first-hand contract with them for your room. They live in the same house (floor 0 & 1), we will live in the second floor with a separate entrance. We are chemistry master students, have moved to Uppsala one year ago and are planning to live here at least one more year. Johanna (she/her), is 22 years old and studies Organic Chemistry. She likes to read and occasionally paints a lot of birds (ducks). On the weekends she sometimes goes to Stockholm to visit a museum. Lila (she/her) is also 22 years old and studies Theoretical and Computational Chemistry. She plays Jugger, likes pen and paper games, and goes camping in any weather. But in real life, both of us spend most of the day on campus or studying, because - chemistry. We speak lite svenska, fluent english, fluent german, and un petit peut français. (We are individuals, trust me), but we are also both vegetarian/leaning towards vegan. The apartment is very modern, has a well-equipped kitchen, some common living space for meals and a sofa. Next to the entrance is a terrace that will be used only by us. There is a large bathroom with shower and toilet, and a small bathroom with second toilet, laundry machine and dryer. Your room contains a large wardrobe integrated in the wall, a queen-size bed, and blinds, but our landlords are okay with you changing the furniture. We have the two smaller rooms with sloping roof. Yours is the one with dark walls, it is the largest of the three and has no sloping ceiling. The apartment is located in a quiet area close to the forest, great for walks and spontaneous camping trips, but it is still well-connected to the city. You can get to the centralstation by bike in less than 20 min, and 25 min by bus. The Ångström and BMC campus are about 12 min away by bike or 20 min by bus. The lake can be reached in 10 min by bike. The closest grocery store is ICA, 8 min walk. We are looking for a third roommate that fits in well with us and might be willing to join occasional movie nights and board games.
