Due to a post-doctoral stay abroad, we will be letting out our apartment between May 25th 2025 and March 15th 2026. The apartment is located in Eriksberg, a suburb in the west of Uppsala, near the beautiful Håga Dalen and surrounding natural areas. It features two rooms and a kitchen, with its own washer/dryer and dishwasher. The apartment is 70 m², with a layout that includes a separate bedroom, a living room connected to the kitchen, and a separate laundry room. It will be rented fully furnished, including kitchenware, towels, and other essentials. Permanent alterations to the apartment will not be permitted. The apartment is conveniently located just a two-minute walk from the nearest grocery store and bus stop. Bus routes 2, 12, and 13 serve the area: route 12 connects to BMC and Ångström, route 2 goes to the city centre, and route 13 provides access to the hospital. We are asking for a monthly rent of 11,000 SEK, which includes water, electricity, and internet. The apartment will be rented out under two separate periods (first period 5 months) which can both be used by the same renter. This arrangement provides flexibility in case we need to return earlier than planned, as well as an inspection point to confirm the management status of the apartment. The apartment is particularly suitable for visiting researchers with small families or workers/students at Akademiska hospital. It is situated close to nature, has excellent day-care and schools nearby, and the neighbourhood is quiet with mostly elderly residents and a few families or child-free couples (DINCs).
